I must confess that I usually don’t use any other color bag than black, but since red is a color that boosts my energy, I thought I must have one in my life. 🥰

This Gucci bag is officially called the “GG Marmont Small Matelassé Shoulder Bag” and is the size bigger than the Mini. Its dimensions are 24x13x7cm, making it perfect for those who have a lot of belongings and want a sophisticated, versatile, and non-bulky look. It’s just perfect! 👜

When it comes to the strap and leather, this bag is quite different from YSL’s Matelassé Camera Bag. The leather is soft and might seem sensitive to scratches at first, but I haven’t had any issues with it. It’s very easy to use and durable. Honestly, I worry less about it than when using YSL’s smooth leather bags. 😅

The strap of this bag is vintage gold, and while it may not be as shiny as other brands, the double G logo makes the overall look stunning in photos and under the light. You don’t need to worry about cat scratches either because they’re not visible! 🤣 If you want the strap to be shinier, you can polish it with Wenol, but be careful not to use it on the zipper as it may cause the cream to get stuck. 🤯

As for the downsides, the soft leather will become even softer with use. To maintain the bag’s shape and prevent the base from collapsing, it’s a good idea to use a bag organizer. It will help preserve the bag’s shape and protect the interior from dirt and dust. 💼

Another downside is that the strap length is quite long, but fortunately, it can be adjusted to five different levels. Still, I wish it could be shorter or have a detachable strap for more versatility. However, it’s not too inconvenient to use. I mostly wear it as a crossbody bag or carry it by my side, but if worn on one shoulder, it might feel too long and not cling to the shoulder well. 🤔

For today’s total look, I chose a simple yet striking outfit by pairing an oversized black suit with the Hibicus Red Gucci bag and adding some golden accessories. Trust me, no one can resist looking at this bag while shopping. 😂 It steals the scene with every step. 🚶‍♀️
